Happy Thanksgiving from our family to yours

Thanksgiving is a time of family, friends and good food. But most importantly, it is a time to reflect on the blessings of God’s provision over the past year. As I prepare for our bountiful meal in Ohio this year, I’m reminded of so many prior Thanksgivings shared with family in the States and with friends abroad. Each memory is special and cherished. Keith and I wish you a special holiday greeting. May you enjoy good food and fellowship while keeping in mind the reason we celebrate.

Oh give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever!

1 Chronicles 16:34

Also, if you would like some conversation starters for your holiday celebration click here for a link to Thanksgiving Trivia.

How did you do on the trivia test? Did you know what the wobbly red piece of flesh on top of the beak of a turkey was called? I never even thought about that before. LOL! Or what meat the native Americans brought to the celebration? I was stumped on that piece of trivia as well, but it makes total sense. Duh! No, it’s not turkey.

What are some of your favorite holiday memories? Feel free to share. I’m looking forward to your comments.

Happy Thanksgiving!
