Clothed in Righteousness In-Depth Devotional Study Guide launched May 30th, 2026. So I held the first launch party of my writing career, although this book is my seventh published book. In years past, I usually published a book and took off for Bulgaria (Eastern Europe). That’s not the best marketing plan. But I wasn’t following the world’s way of doing life, I was simply following my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Double Exciting News!
Clothed in Righteousness In-Depth Devotional Study Guide is one of the books selected as a finalist for the Christian Market Books Award. How exciting is that!?! Awards will be presented at the Advance Writers and Speakers Association’s Golden Scroll Awards Banquet on August 2nd at the St. Charles Convention Center in St. Charles, Missouri. There were 330 books entered into 3 categories–fiction, non-fiction, and children’s books. I am blessed beyond words to be a finalist in the non-fiction genre, and all the glory goes to the Lord who is the One who put this important message on my heart.
Triple Exciting News!
Months ago I entered the first 15 pages of a fiction book I’m working on (and although I am unable to publicly state the title until the winners are announced at the Awards Gala in Memphis on August 29th), I am allowed to share the news. This work in progress has also placed as a semi-finalist for the American Christian Fiction Writers’ Genesis Contest.
Writing is a lonely career. The work is accomplished by sitting at a desk alone, spending countless hours writing, editing, and revising all for an audience of One, while still wondering if anyone will ever read the words written and, better yet, be impacted by them. So to get the news that the book made it to the semi-finals is exciting to say the least. God is so good.
Yet, I also know that many other authors spent just as much time and didn’t receive the new they desired to hear. If that’s you–don’t stop writing! Keep following your dream. God sees, and He knows the plans He has for you! Trust Him and write!
