Session 1–Clothed in Scarlet

Do you struggle with fear, worry, or anxiety? Are you always waiting for something horrible to happen? Does your mind jump to the worst-case scenario? Do you desire to have a calm and perfect peace in the midst of a storm? The message below was taught by my dear friend, Janice Schatzinger, a pastor’s wife of 25 years who recently lost her husband, unexpectedly. If anyone has the authority to teach on the storms of life, it’s Janice. (Oh, and did I mention, Janice and I share 2 grandsons. Her son is married to my daughter.) The message you are about to hear (shown below this paragraph) was the third and final session of our retreat. Included in the message was a super cool thing that God began the night before during our time of prayer and worship when the subject of the baptism of the Holy Spirit came up. (Thanks Michelle!) So in this message Janice and I tagged team as the speakers . . . and both of us totally went off notes and just shared from our hearts what God was impressing both of us to teach. You gotta listen–God is so cool. He loves you more than you know!
