There have been so many times in my life when I’ve felt left out and didn’t quite fit in. Although this is a normal part of life, there’s an important truth to learn concerning the source of this discontentment.

You and I have an enemy of our souls who wants to keep us from becoming all that God created us to be. In fact, he wants us running around trying to fit into the crowd, trying to be something we are not.

If you can relate, embrace this truth:

You are someone uniquely special, created with a specific call on your life.

You don’t need to fit in—just be you!

Dear Lord,

Help me not to get caught up with trying to fit in with the crowd. Help me to embrace the truth that I am uniquely special, created to do a specific work that You have for me.
