Manifestations of a Deep-Heart-Hurt

Do you know someone struggling with guilt or shame? Do you want to help that person be set free?

In this podcast, we talk about the manifestations of unhealed guilt and shame in a person’s life. And more importantly, how we (as biblical disciplers) can help the person heal over these issues.

Some of the topics we touch on in this podcast are:

  • The difference between guilt and shame
  • Being sinned against, such as in the case of rape or abuse, which can lead to shame
  • How God can use atrocities to draw us closer to Him (Psalm 83:16)
  • How our wrong choices leads to guilt (Psalm 38:4)
  • The red flags we sometimes see in a person’s life who is crying out for help

Plus so much more.

If you want to pre-read the section we discuss in this podcast read session 2, page 16, headings number 1 Guilt and number 3 Shame. But if you don’t have the curriculum or the time to pre-read, no worries, just listen in. I’m sure the podcast will encourage you in your discipleship work as you learn more about how to more effectively disciple the hurting.

And, if you’ve never looked at the Go in Peace Biblical Discipleship Curriculum, and you have a heart to disciple the hurting, and you would like a practical tool please click on the links below to take a peek at the curriculum.

(Please know, it’s not my desire to sell you a book. I only want to help you disciple the hurting. So if money is an issue click on the “contact Cherie” button and email me. I’ll send you the book Go in Peace for Teens for free if you write a short note explaining your situation. The reason I do this? Because if you go through the book page-by-page with the person you desire to help you’ll be amazed at how easy it is to use and what God will do in and through you.)
