Manifestations of a Deep-Heart-Hurt

How do you work with a person in the thick of denial, or someone who uses avoidance as a means to cope?

These two topics are issues we will deal with as biblical disciplers. They are like bandaids people use to handle their deep-heart-hurts when they haven’t been taught how to give that hurt to the Lord in the manner He intended.

First John 1:6 & 8 says:

 

If we say that we have fellowship with Him and yet walk in the darkness,

we lie and do not practice the truth …

If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

 

So listen in to be encouraged and equipped in how to help a person move from the darkness and into the light by recognizing the avoidance and denial in his or her life.
