Well, we are off to Bulgaria today—the land that we love. (I am sure that my family in Arizona loves for us to depart because they always come stay at our house—for them the house near the beach. The sad part in this is we never get to visit with them.)
We will keep you posted via weekly blog posts. Can you keep us in your prayers? Our main prayer requests are as follows:
- Travel mercies (including our old 1991 VW van to keep running)
- No perfume on the plane–perfume can give Cherie a migraine
- Health and safety
- Wisdom, knowledge, guidance and faith
- Staff vision, fellowship and unity
Our focus for this trip is a staff retreat for the Truth and Hope Foundation. In the last couple of trips, since our staff is part-time, it is difficult to get everyone together for an extended period of time. So we decided to go away for the weekend and check out a hotel we are considering using for upcoming retreats. If we are going to move back to Bulgaria we need to prepare our staff and get some things moving forward.
Also, since the property we want to purchase is still tied up in a court case, maybe another year at this point since the case has been appealed, we are going to look at other options. Please ask the Lord to lead us and guide us to the exact place He wants for us if we are to purchase something. There are a few options we are considering which would be a much, much bigger step of faith. This is why we need God’s wisdom, knowledge, guidance and FAITH!
–Matthew 7:7-8
Our prayer: “Lord, we are asking and have been asking for over ten years to find a place to minister to hurting women. We are seeking and will continue to seek until we find the place You want for us. And Lord we are knocking, may You open only one door, the door You have for us. Amen.”
Lastly, since we haven’t set any seminar or retreats for this trip please pray for divine appointments and opportunities. Usually on such short trips our schedule very quickly gets filled to the brim and we get wiped out. Please pray for strength to meet all the many opportunities God brings our way. May we be faithful to walk in them.
Enjoying His grand adventure, Keith and Cherie
P.S. Feel free to share this with your friends or pin it to your prayer board.
Praying your time will be blessed. Say hello to my sisters in the Lord! Let them know they are not forgotten and I am praying for them and their time with you.
