Depression can be one of the manifestations of a deep-heart-hurt.
Do you know someone struggling with depression? Today in this podcast we talk about the three main causes of depression.
- Physical imbalance
- Spiritual, or in other words, what is taking place in the depths of a person’s heart.
And we also discuss how to get to the root cause of the depression. In Psalm 38:6 King David penned:
“I am bowed down and brought very low; all day long I go about mourning.”
Although King David doesn’t use the word depressed or depression his words describe his feelings of depression. One of my favorite truths to remember is since all of the issues we touch on as we work with hurting people–depression, anxiety, rage and so forth–are found in the Bible, we know that God’s answers concerning these issues are found within the Bible as well. Isn’t that so cool. We just need to find them. And these podcasts will help you discover these truths.
