Have you ever desired to help the self-righteous?
You know, the person who thinks he or she is perfect and everyone else is at fault. What do you do to help the self-righteous person? How can you make a difference? Well, today we are going to talk about Simon in the story of the Sinful Woman. He didn’t think he needed help, but Jesus knew otherwise.
Plus, we’re going to talk about the two types of people I generally see while discipling the hurting. But even better, we’re going to discuss how to effectively minister to either type.
If you want to pre-read the curriculum that we will be discussing read session 2, page 11, under the heading of The Portrait of the Sinful Woman. But if you don’t have the curriculum or the time to pre-read, no worries, just listen in. I’m sure the podcast will encourage you in your discipleship work as you learn more about how to help the self-righteous.
