This recipe is great for any New Year’s celebration. It’s fast, easy and delicious. In fact, it was so delicious that we ate them all before we remembered to take photos of the finished mushrooms! Sorry! But I did happen to find a picture of Justin’s (our son-in-law’s) plate just before he dug in. You can see three of the mushrooms before they were devoured.

1 pound Mushrooms (stems removed)

8 oz. Cream Cheese (soften)

4 tablespoons Parmesan Cheese (grated)

5-6 drops Worcestershire Sauce

3 Green Onions or lots of Chives (finely chopped)

1 teaspoon Hormel Real Bacon Bits (optional)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).

Mix together cream cheese, parmesan cheese, Worcestershire sauce, green onions and bacon bits to make filling for the mushrooms.

Spoon the filling mixture into the mushroom caps and place in baking dish.

Bake until the filling is just beginning to turn golden brown and the mushrooms are tender.  About 20 to 30 minutes.

Oh, and what’s a great recipe without a recipe for love?

Recipe for Love – Don’t worry, be happy!

“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes?” —Matthew 6:25
